Job Description & Responsibilities:

The same is expected of its people and all staff are encouraged to contribute to this. 

On behalf of our client, HIH is currently looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Human Resources Manager. The role is based in the exciting Thai capital of Bangkok, and reports to the General Manager. Further job details and responsibilities are provided below;

  • Lead the day to day human resource operations. This includes employee relations; compensation and benefits; recruitment; training and development; performance management
  • Communicate and reinforce human resource policies and legislation to all department heads. This includes both company policies as well as local legislative laws
  • To prepare and review human resource handbook in order to maintain relevance
  • Ensure visa and work permits for all expatriate employees are up to date and compliant and any changes in legislation is monitored, noted and communicated accordingly
  • To monitor staff attrition and to design and suggest initiatives to drive improved performance in this area
  • Engender the brand working culture across all departments and implement monitoring techniques to ensure this is understood and followed.
  • Prepare and present monthly HR reports to GM and other leadership team members
  • Work with heads of department with regards hiring new staff and their subsequent induction and familiarization, following company policies throughout
  • Prepare and roll-out employee award program in order to recognize outstanding performance and achievement
  • To organize and hold meetings with colleagues as required
  • To schedule external meetings with stakeholders, advisors, partners, recruitment companies, etc. 
Candidate Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • 4 Years industry experience in HR/Personnel  function
  • Confident , engaging personality
  • Ability to clearly communicate and articulate thoughts with a multitude of audiences from very senior GM/CFO level through to entry level employees
  • Full buy-in to the company brand and what is stands for and to communicate that to all heads of department
  • To act as a business partner to Hotel General Manager and heads of department, and to ensure their needs are managed in a timely manner
