Job Description & Responsibilities:
MUST HAVE :
1) ACTA certificate
 
2) Knowledge of Continuous Improvement review (CRI) for ETS – this is an audit requirement which will be conduct by WSG at the end of the ETS grant to fund the payment to us.
 
3) Training experience at F&B operations
 
4) Experience in restaurant opening training  


Staff Management
 Assists in the coordination and delivery of training team communications and initiatives to the operations team
 Develop Training Manuals, continually enhance and maintains archive materials
 Assist in training materials rollouts to the restaurants and participation in special training project teams.
 Supports training and operations teams in their implementation of training materials in each restaurant
 Monitor training teams and training schedules for both local and International restaurants
 Has the ability to work independently, coordinating arrangements for new restaurant openings, conferences, and developmental training. Able to work under strict deadlines with a great deal of flexibility
 Must have the ability to work jointly between departments, individuals, and management levels
 Understanding of training programs and materials with competence to answer questions regarding training operations
 Nimble to adopt best practices, implement and managing various developed initiatives and platforms
 Conducts and tracks Quality Assurance assessments, monitors guest complaints and then implements training programmes to address
 Supports development of operational talent by assessing and identifying performance and development opportunities for key personnel
 Sponsors, leads and/or participates in special projects to identify improvements in functional areas
 Assists in the coordination of New Restaurant Opening training teams; arrange transportation, produces trainer packets, payroll, and follows up on training issues
 Fosters an environment of open communication to ensure consistency in development procedures and continuous process improvement
 Works closely with Human Resource Department to develop training, retention and team building programmes.

Financial Management
 Monitor expenses, ensuring expenditures are within departmental budget.
Candidate Requirements

Experience and Qualifications
 Tertiary graduate or equivalent
 Operations and Human Resource Management experience a plus
 Experience in Strategic planning in training module system
 Knowledge in Managing Learning / Training portal will be advantage
 Minimum 2 years experience as Training Manager in F&B / retail industry
 Well organised and requires to travel overseas (50% to 70%) of the time
