Job Description & Responsibilities:
Responsible for meeting the sales targets for Corporate Sales
Be able to speak and read Mandarin so as to tap the China Market
Establishes sales objectives and develop annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and revenue from various segments.
Develops and manages sales operating budgets as well as analyses and controls expenditures of team to conform to budgetary requirements.
Develops and recommends account positioning and respective account pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share.
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
Oversees a team and conducts performance evaluations to develop and control sales leaders.
Directs market development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Represents Company at industry association meetings, exhibitions, industry events to promote the brand and hotels.
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Achieve targeted revenues and personal/team sales goals and maximize profitability.
Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Marketing or equivalent.
Preferably those with at least five (5) years of prior working experience in this position. Good interpersonal & communication skills.
Good sales & marketing skills; ability to prepare proposals with creative selling skills and ideas.
Good written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Ability to communicate in multiple local dialects will be added advantage.
5 day work week but candidates must be prepared to work long hours and to work on week ends / public holidays.
