Chinese Banquet Chef (Based in Penang)
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Assuring proper sanitisation practices are followed
Assuring smooth banquet operation by coordinating with related food and beverage departments
controlling food costs by maintaining accurate records of all food ingredients used for banquets
Directong supervision of day to day operation of all banquet functions
Ensuring prepartion, plating and presentation standards are maintained
Candidate Requirements
Degree or High school diploma required (Culinary degree preferred)
3+ years’ experience as a Chinese Chef, must have banquet experience
Must be able to provide a portfolio of creative work for consideration
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Precise eye for detail
